Doctor Who quote

"The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and... bad things. The good things don't always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don't necessarily spoil the good things or make them unimportant. And we definitely added to his pile of good things."

Day of Delirium #364 - day 2 of vacation

More Relaxation was in order. There were three naps, reading, a treadmill (ok not as relaxing but I was walking in New Zealand, so that was cool), swimming, the whirlpool and lunch out. The rain was still around but I really wanted to try a local restaurant so I danced with the raindrops. Then I ended the day checking out the convention my hubby is attending and it was all right up my alley ... Because Nice Matters.

Here are pictures from my day.

Day of Delirium #363 - first day of vacation

So while my hubby is at a convention in Toronto, I get to have a real vacation. I have no plans set at all except sleeping in, swimming, reading, eating and relaxing.

So today was my first day to do all that. Here are some photos from my day.

Slept in until after 12 noon

Relaxed on the chaise lounge in the slippers and robe from the hotel.

Continued with the book I have been trying to finish. Not done yet.

Delicious gluten free chocolates from the hotel restaurant

Hubby was sweet enough to get me breakfast foods from the lounge as he knew I wouln’t make the times for breakfast.

I watched the unending traffic and rain

Ate delicious gluten free pizza and am watching the Raiders play the 49ers
I am definitely haven’t a much better day than the Raiders. Sigh

Wonder what tomorrow will bring for my vacation.

Day of Delirium #372 - 49

They say your cells change every 7 years.
Well this full moon moving into my 49th year seems appropriate then.

Day of Delirium #371 - Poland Favorite Meal

I would safely say our favorite thing, albeit a small thing, was going out to dinner in Krakow at a place that I could have gluten free pierogi.

Not only was my meal perfect but my mother had regular pierogi and also had a perfect meal.

Our desserts were delicious and I know we would return to the same place when in Krakow again.

Family run and the locals choice, we couldn't do better than Pod Baranem.

A slightly longer review is on my Gluten Free R U blog if you are interested.
