Day of Delirium #61 - Presents for me - updated

DangrDonna and DangrBoy sent me presents for my birthday (which was in October)!!


This card is hilarious and perfect. I can hear DangrBoy saying these exact words LOL!


Something you all may not know about me but I love penguins. So here is my penguin gift :)

 I've been waiting for this. 
DangrDonna wrote to me months ago and warned me not to buy this, so I didn't but it was hard to wait LOL!!!


Oooo pretty - love it


This is my favorite item though. I looked at this frame about 200 times while in Forks and didn't buy it. Well somehow DangrDonna bought it on our last day and got it all the way home to send to me in my box of birthday presents. I am glad she knows me so well. I love it and her :)

And just recently Snarkier Than You sent me some things in the mail and she worried that she included something I couldn't have - something that might have gluten in it.

I collect the candy for the Saga and I did NOT have these yet but now I do and I couldn't be happier.

Day of Delirium #59 - What are you reading?

Ok so the question last week was, "What's for dinner?"
and you all did a phenomenal job of helping my friend
A Girl in the South get her 50 blog followers!

So this week's question is, "What are you reading?"
and I am hoping you will help my friend

Her blog is all about creativity of the writing kind. She posts Write On Wednesday's which are posts of one shots or short story chapters for any kind of writer - seasoned writers and newbie writers. I even have a story posted on her blog (and I am as newbie as you can get) and you were all so wonderful to come read it and comment on it. I hope to repay you soon with more writing :) and I hope you can repay TigerlilyLace for her amazing idea and continued support of writers with a follow on her blog.


She is a talented writer herself and also an excellent photographer (she has a Tumblr for her photography and Etsy and Zazzle stores in which to sell her photography). She is a wonderful person and an amazing friend.

Day of Delirium #58 - What's for dinner?


Have you ever come home from a long day and wondered, "What's for dinner?"
I know I have and I am not all that adventurous when it comes to cooking lately.
But I have found a cure for that!

AGirlintheSouth has a wonderful blog called A Girl in the South and she posts the most amazing recipes that always have me drooling.


She not only posts exactly how to make the food but she includes gorgeous pictures that make me want to lick my screen - as some of you want to when Rob is on your screen. She also includes her incredible daughter, Weeone, who will probably grow up to be a famous chef as she is well versed in the ways of a kitchen (so impressed).

AGirlintheSouth is looking for followers for her blog and I am more than happy to help her find them. Now mind you I would help her no matter what but there is a bonus in that she is offering a giveaway when she gets to 50 followers. The giveaway is for an incredible piece of La Creuset cookware!

Oooo it is sooo pretty and it would match my kitchen perfectly. I wonder if it comes with the skills of A Girl in the South and/or Weeone too :) ??

My good friend Inotu posted on her blog about her Career Path numerology reading a few weeks ago. I firmly believe in numerolgy and was very interested to have my information "read" for me. Inotu kindly inputted my information and here is the result:

Numerology is the study of numbers, and the occult manner in which they reflect certain aptitudes and character tendencies, as an integral part of the cosmic plan. Each letter has a numeric value that provides a related cosmic vibration. The sum of the numbers in your birth date and the sum of value derived from the letters in your name provide an interrelation of vibrations. These numbers show a great deal about your character, your purpose in life, what motivates you, and where your talents may lie.

There are eleven numbers used in constructing Numerology charts. These numbers are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, and 22. Larger numbers that occur from adding the numbers in your complete birth date or from the values assigned to each name, are reduced until you achieve one of the core numbers. Merely add the components of the larger number together (repeatedly, if necessary) until a single digit (or the "master" numbers 11 or 22) results.

The Life Path. . . .your basic direction in this life

The most important number that will be discussed here is your Life Path number. The Life Path describes the nature of this journey through life. This is a number that is derived from all the numbers in your birth date. The Life Path number is established from the date of birth. First, convert the month to a single number, then add this individual digit, the birthday, and the individual digits of the birth year. The individual digits are again added together, as necessary to reduce the sum to a single digit 1 through 9, or to the numerology "master numbers," 11 or 22. These master numbers are not reduced any further. Based on your birth date, your Life Path number is:

The Life Path 6 suggests that you entered this plane with tools to become the ultimate nurturer, and a beacon for truth, justice, righteousness, and domesticity. Your paternal, or maternal, as the case may be, instincts with a 6 Life Path exceed all others by a considerable margin. Whether in the home or in the work place, you are the predominant caretaker and family head. While the 6 may assume significant responsibilities in the community, the life revolves around the immediate home and family, for this is the most domestic of numbers. Conservative principles and convictions are deeply ingrained and define your character.

You are idealistic and must feel useful to be happy. The main contribution you make is that of advice, service, and ever present support. You are a humanitarian of the first order. It is your role to serve others, and you start in the home environment. You are very human and realistic about life, and you feel that the most important thing in your life is the home, the family and the friends.

This is the Life Path related to leadership by example and assumption of responsibility, thus, it is your obligation to pick up the burden and always be ready to help. If you are like the majority with Life Path 6, you are one who will willingly carry far more than your fair share of any load, and you are always there when needed. In doing so, you take ownership and often become an authority over the situation.

In romance, the 6 is loyal and devoted. A caretaker type, you are apt to attract partners who are somewhat weaker and more needy than yourself; someone you can care for and protect. The main ingredient that must prevail in the relationship is complete harmony. You don't function well in stressful relationships that become challenges for you to control. It is the same with friends, you are loyal and trustworthy. But there is a tendency for you to become dominating and controlling.

It's likely you feel compelled to function with strength and compassion. You are a sympathetic and kind person, generous with personal and material resources. Wisdom, balance, and understanding are the cornerstones of your life, and these define your approach to life in general. Your extraordinary wisdom and the ability to understand the problems of others is apt to commence from an early age. This allows you to easily span the generation gap and assume an important role in life early on.

The number 6 Life Path actually produces few negative examples, but there are some pitfalls peculiar to the path. You may have a tendency to become overwhelmed by responsibilities and a slave to others, especially members of you own family or close friends. It's easy for you to fall into a pattern of being too critical of others; you also have a tendency to become too hard on yourself. The misuse of this Life Path produce tendencies for you to engage in exaggeration, over-expansiveness, and self-righteousness. Modesty and humility may not flow easily. Your Birthday. . . .a Life Path modifier

The birthday serves to distinguish somewhat and modify the eleven personality Life Path numbers. The additional personality traits reflected by the birthday tend to add dimension to the Life Path and are never as significant as that influence.

Your birth on the 25th day of the month (7 energy) modifies your life path by giving you some special interest in technical, scientific, or other complex and often hard to understand subjects. You may become something of a perfectionist and a stickler for details. Your thinking is logical and intuitive, rational and responsible. Your feelings may run deep, but you are not very likely to let them show. This birthday makes you a more private person, more introspective and perhaps more inflexible. In friendships you are very cautious and reserved. You are probably inventive, and given to unique approaches and solutions.

Your Personal Year

The vibrations of a given year, to you as a person, is called your personal year. The tone of each year is different and fall into a pattern that cycles in nine years. A personal year is determined by adding the reduced total of your birth day and month, to the reduced total of the year in question. Then reduce the sum to a single digit in the same manner as before. The personal year usually sets the stage for events during the year.

Personal Year 2. . . .Development, cooperation, and waiting

This is a number 2 personal year. A personal year 2 is a wait and see time; a year when you will find yourself in the background and very much in a stage of development. This is not a time to force the issue and try to move forward. It is a time for cooperation and building relationships that will benefit you in the future; a year for accumulating and collecting. Aggressiveness will cause problems now. You must be prepared for delays, detours, stoppages and you must be patient. This is a time of small contribution, of helping, and details must be taken care of when they come up. You may give time and effort to further another's work. This year may be a test to your self-control and emotional sensitivities. This is a time to improve your abilities to work with others in a productive way and this can be difficult for you if you have chiefly worked alone in the past. Keep calm, cool, and pleasant. You may experience a degree of nervous tension during this period; the two year brings a tendency to emotional extremes including depression. Very deep relationships with a person of the opposite sex (including marriage) may be more apt to occur during a 2 year. If married, there is apt to be a deepening of feeling in the relationship during a 2 year.

Additionally my friend Fernando posted another great thought on exercise this week:

Dr. Joseph Mercola, a well-known health advocate, has an interesting take on exercise. He believes that it should be prescribed, like any other medication, in daily doses.

Mercola states:
"The simple act of writing out a prescription for exercise is an excellent approach to being proactive in regard to your health. It's also far more logical, inexpensive and actually radically reduces your risk of most every chronic disease known to man. A daily exercise routine is one of the main factors in achieving optimal wellness."



So here is your prescription from Dr. Dangrdafne:

Take one 30 minute session a day for the rest of your life and do something in the realm of exercise.


Examples: Walk, walk your dog, jog in place, do push ups/sit ups/leg lifts/lift weights while watching TV, ride a stationery bike or walk on a treadmill (while reading Fan Fiction), use the stairs instead of elevators/escalators, park away from the doors at your shopping destinations, walk every aisle in the grocery store (BUT don't buy stuff in each aisle of course LOL), do yoga, or meditate.

It doesn't have to be a huge life changing exercise event, just 30 minutes of moving and I promise you it will make a difference.
