Doctor Who quote

"The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and... bad things. The good things don't always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don't necessarily spoil the good things or make them unimportant. And we definitely added to his pile of good things."

Day of delirium #28 - Dress for Success?

I saw this quote today:

"Dress shabbily, they notice the dress. Dress impeccably, they notice the woman."
--Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel, French fashion designer

At first, I thought, either way people probably still notice the clothing more than the woman but...

then I thought about the pictures of Kristen Stewart in the US Elle magazine this week.

Many of you commented that this cover picture is a horrible outfit and you chose to pick apart the stylist and mention how dowdy Kristen looks but never once did you actually mention Kristen herself.

Then your descriptions changed of the pictures inside the magazine where she was dressed completely different. Suddenly you were stating that Kristen is amazing, she is hot, she is strong, she is incredible and I realized that perhaps the correct clothes do have you notice the woman.

What do your clothes say about you?

Day of Delirium #27 - Fast-Tracking Your Way to Success

Going Bonkers article #5 - Fast-Tracking Your Way to Success by Dr. Annie Kaszina, Ph.D.

I wish I could fast track my way to successfully writing this post LOL!

Ok how to successfully write this post using the steps from the article:

1) Set your goal. It has to be something you believe in, something you really want.

- Goal = write the post. I believe this post will help others. I really want to post this information.

2) Make a list of all the things you can do that can move you toward your goal.

- See this list I am creating.

3) Start taking action. Commit to as many small actions as you feel you can take on today, this week, this month.

- I am writing the list in the post to meet my goal of writing my post about success.

4) Test and measure. Review the actions you have taken and notice if some produce better results than others.

- *goes back to read above text* Writing the list has led to the result of the list being written. Goal still in sight.

5) Talk to as many people as you can about your goal and enlist their help and support.

- I am at work writing this post. I will have to skip this item today :)

6) Review and refine your goal as necessary as you move forward.

- Still want to write a post about success so I have reviewed the goal and it does not need refining at this time.

7) When discouragement threatens to creep in, ask: "What are you doing right now that isn't working? What could you be doing right now that might be more effective?"

- I am trying to write this post at work while distracted by my work load. I could be working on that instead of this but where is the fun in that?

8) Schedule time every day to focus on the small wins and successes you have had. Always remember nothing succeeds like success. The more you feed your successes into your unconscious mind, the more it will help generate further success.

- All I keep thinking is that the word success sounds very odd after awhile. Almost like succubus. It sucks the life out of you. Oh no, that is not good. Pretend you didn't read that part. Success is awesome! Success is great! Success is almost mine!

9) Let your unconscious mind do all the hard work of generating bigger and better successes. Just tell it what you really want and it will do everything it can to help you get it.

- Sounds like a dangerous mind to me but I'll take it. And it is the truth. If you believe it, there is a better chance of success. Positive thoughts, get you results. I wanted to write this post. I positively thought I could do it and now it is done! Phew!

So using this Domino Effect, look at that, I wrote my post. Who knows if the post makes sense or not but at least it is written LOL!!

Basically, remember if succeeding at something seems overwhelming and out of reach, break it down into simpler steps. As you achieve the smaller steps your success gets closer to being achieved. Even those who look like overnight sensations have most likely put in the work at making that success a reality.

Robert Pattinson may appear to be an overnight success but if you look at his past work, you can see it was all little steps to a final destination of being a star. He even thought of giving up but when his mind heard his parents tell him to come home, what did it do? It went into overdrive to get him the success he wanted and the next thing he auditioned for was Twilight.

What is one of your greatest successes in your life?

Day of Delirium #25 - Hosting Friday Fun Five for Edbrella!!

I am humbled and honored to be your host today for the Friday Fun Five.

Since Edbrella is busy with Rob's Birthday Blog Train, they asked me to host the illustrious Friday Fun Five. I was a little scared at first as my blog does not have a content warning and I was hoping I wouldn't have to add it ;) but we are good to go. Comments are open to whatever you want/need to say as I have them mentioned in my disclaimer LOL. Soooo without further ado...

Tongue Twied was the winner last week as chosen by itsjustme1217 of RobMusement, who just happens to be the creator of this week's Rob's Birthday Blog Train!

Here are the awesome questions:

1. What is your favorite autograph? It can be because of whose autograph it is or the story of how you went about getting the autograph.

2. What is the best excuse you've used to talk your way out of a traffic ticket (or other situation involving the cops). Or, what excuse did you try that was a total fail?

3. You get to choose Rob's next three leading movie roles. He will star in one remake, one new sequel, and one new book adaptation. What movies would you choose for him?

In the words of one of my favorite people "My blog, my rules!" *waves at Stan*

Bonus if you'd like...same question using ONE of your other favorite Twilight guys (Leaving the door WIDE open for the Kellan or Jackson fans and somehow I know Tayboy is gonna sneak through the doggie door, too!)

4. Its the year 2017. E! True Hollywood Stories is doing a story on the secret scandals, romances, and/or bad luck that plagued the sets of the Twilight Saga movies while they were being filmed. Tell us the juicy details of the biggest story!

5. You're getting married tomorrow and only your Twilight bloggy friends will be the guests in attendance so you plan to incorporate your love for Twilight into your wedding. If you could do just ONE really boisterous thing what would you do?

TongueTwied feels the need to answer this one now and stake her claim.
Answer: "Marry Rob."

Picture lovingly borrowed with permission from Mrs. P at TwiBite. Thank you!

Birthday Bonus Question!

I know it's Rob's birthday this week and we've all celebrated and talked about what we would give him. But let's say Rob heard it was YOUR birthday and offers this as a gift to you: You can have the choice of spending one day accompanying him around town and to interviews in a day-in-the-life with Robert Pattinson from 9 to 5 or spend one night with him privately but he will have to stay in character the whole time (and which character would you want him to be?)

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I think these are excellent questions and I can't wait to see all your answers in the comments.

Thank you again to Edbrella for trusting me with their Friday Fun Five, I hope I did you proud :)

Day of Delirium #24 - My favorite number is 24

This is my 24th blog post and it is also the day that Rob Pattinson turns 24.

So something epic should happen on my blog, right? Right!

First, I will attempt some music to scroll by (line borrowed...ok stolen from 17ForeverLisa- I hope you don't mind, I love you) for the first time ever on my blog:

My hubby thought it appropriate for the use of the number 24 on this very special day.

Second, I will share the pictures of the party that Mocha, Mini-E and Mrs. P threw in Disney that they just told me was a birthday party to celebrate Rob. Below are the pictures from said party.

Enjoy and Happy 24th Birthday Rob!

Here the Mouse Mob had their party hats all ready for the celebration.

Then something happened to the camera during the party and the next picture... well....

I am not sure what happened but it looks like it might have been fun....

Oh my, maybe too much fun for the Mouse Mob :)

Looks like while Mocha is distracted by his own foot, Mini-E is making his move on Mrs. P! LOL!

But then the Mardi Gras beads came out and suddenly everyone was feeling much better.

So much better inn fact that they indulged me in a group Disney portrait...

I love the Mouse Mob. Thanks for the great party pictures and a great trip to Disney!

Day of Delirium #23 - Mocha's Disney post

Hi! I'm Mocha

As you know I joined, Dangrdafne, Mr. Dangrdafne, Mini-E and Mrs. P on the trip to Disney. I had soooo much fun.

Dangrdafne decided to make me a video since there were so many pictures of me. I am pretty darn cute. I hope you like me... I mean I hope you like my pictures.

Day of Delirium #22 - Mouse Mob

Mini-E here again. I managed to get back online while Dangrdafne slept in for Mother's Day.
Oh, I guess I should wish everyone here a Happy Mother's Day, I am sure Dangrdafne would like that.

Well I promised pictures of me, Mocha and Mrs. P in Disney - we were dubbed the Mouse Mob - and here you go:

This was us on the bus from the airport to the hotel - Port Orleans French Quarter.
Look at the monkey hitting on Mrs. P, the nerve of him.

Sitting on a bench in Hollywood Studios.

Hailing a cab in Hollywood Studios.

Ready for a buggy ride on the Boardwalk in Disney.
Too bad our legs were too short to actually transport Mrs. P anywhere.

Dangrdafne said she would follow us anywhere. I thought that was very sweet of her.

This was the most fun. We had a magic carpet ride in Morocco. I felt just like Aladdin. WOO HOO!!!!

Ahhh my favorite place we visited - Mexico.
The Three Banditos is a much cooler name than Mouse Mob, don't you think?
But we are certainly all better looking than those guys on the packaging, well maybe not the monkey.

Phew, Disney is very tiring or maybe it was the party we had (pictures to be shared later).
Here we are all tucked in for the night.
Thanks for checking out the Mouse Mob pictures.
In case you missed it, please be sure to check out just my personal Disney pictures in this post!

Love,
Mini-E

Day of Delirium #21 - Mini-E's Disney Post

As most of you know, Dangrdafne and her hubby went to Disney World in Orlando Florida last week to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary. I was lucky enough to be in attendance for this joyous time although I had to share some of the spotlight with a monkey named Mocha and some hot chick named Mrs. P. I didn't mind Mrs. P because she was smokin' hot but that monkey was cuter than me and I didn't like that at all.

We had a really great time although it was hotter than Hades and I spent a lot of time in Dangrdafne's bag. I am grateful that she didn't torture me with any character meetings, as I am not sure I could have contained myself and not tried to bite the huge mouse or dog (they looked tasty). Here are some of my pictures from the trip. I hope you enjoy:
This is me trying to smash the singing coming through the phone on the first night.
Dangrdafne had to convince me it was ok, that it was just Mickey and Minnie singing Happy Birthday to her hubby. I thought it was quite annoying with their silly high pitched voices.

This was the view from the window of our room at the Port Orleans French Quarter.

Dangrdafne kept talking about hidden Mickey's or something, so I asked if this was one in the bedspread (do you see them?) I must have been right as she took my picture and was smiling alot. I am glad I can make her happy.

I am not sure why I had to pose with these two items but Dangrdafne said they reminded her of her best buddy TwilightCupcake, so I indulged her. She also mentioned that the items reminded her of a story or something called Clipped Wings and Inked Armour. I can't even imagine what that is all about.
The cupcakes did look yummy but I don't get that silly kitty thing.

Now in Hollywood Studios Mr. Dangrdafne thought it would be funny to put me in here especially with that sign behind me. He is lucky I didn't "ventilate" him! But it brought a smile to Dangrdafne, so *sigh* I dealt with it.

Now this girl... err mouse? I liked her. She was tons of fun. I met her at the Boardwalk in Disney. She was a great dancer and always smiling. I wish we could have brought her home with us.

In this picture, you get to meet that darn monkey Mocha. He was irritating. Dangrdafne was cooing all over him the whole trip. Then he decided he didn't want to share the chocolate milkshake with me at the ESPN club. How rude!

Then I got to travel in Epcot's World Showcase. This was fun!
First up, Morocco. Welcome to my adobe LOL!

Then some time in Mexico. I loved the hat - see the ears?

I made a Mexican friend too! He didn't have much to say and he wouldn't shake hands with me. Odd

Ole!

Ok, I will admit... playing bongos with the monkey was fun! rat a tat tat
I really enjoyed Mexico!

Then it was on to cooler weather (Ha!) in Norway and there I had dinner... POLAR BEAR!!

I LOVED Germany too. Ooooo chocolate. How did Dangrdafne know I loved this candy bar?
She says it was because of some story called Emancipation Proclamation
I don't really care how she knew, I just know I wanted them all.

And last but not least on the world showcase tour... Italy. Again Dangrdafne was so excited to have pictures of me here. No idea why but it was so beautiful I easily posed for her.
Even the Disney photographer thought my pictures were cool (although I did hear him laugh pretty hard once he realized who I was).

Then I truly indulged Dangrdafne and posed for Disney portrait complete with a hat and Mardi Gras beads (we did stay at Port Orleans French Quarter you know). Finally some cooing for me!

I do look pretty cute, don't I? Then Mr. Dangrdafne mentioned I looked like a wizard
and that seems familiar but it's like some other lifetime or something.

Well thanks for looking at my Disney photos. We had a great time. It is nice to be home though.

P.S. Don't tell Dangrdafne but if I can get on here again tomorrow, I may post the pics of myself, Mocha and Mrs. P that we took together on the trip. They are pretty funny.
