Doctor Who quote

"The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and... bad things. The good things don't always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don't necessarily spoil the good things or make them unimportant. And we definitely added to his pile of good things."

Day of Delirium #39 - A little bit of this and a little bit of that

My post title reminds me of the Kia Soul commercial with the Hamsters... which I love... but it also reminds me of Eclipse night as that was one of the "previews" before the movie. What a great night that was!

I realized today that I forgot to tell a story from many months ago. My friends TwilightCupcake aka @cupcakegirl76 on Twitter and @RedBella went to the Vancouver TwiTour Convention and had breakfast with Peter Facinelli. I was following the happenings on Twitter and this is what happened...

Peter Facinelli tweeted me!!!! He would have called me but I never gave TwilightCupcake my phone number... she has it now of course :) I love that I can still get the amazing feelings I felt then while I write this today. Thank you TwilightCupcake and RedBella for a memory that I will cherish forever.

Then TwilightCupcake went somewhere that I can't remember right now (I want to say the airport while going to Las Vegas but I am not sure) and saw a book that made her think of me...

She thought of me because it was very much like my blog. The funny thing is... I LOVE "Life is Good". I own enough of their shirts to wear a different one every day for a month - I kind of love them, yes I do. So when I was in their store the other week, I had to pick up the book. It is everything I love about Life is Good. Simple, uplifting statements that we can all live by. This one in particular makes me think of FFOORRKKSS!!

Some people may think we are crazy for our trip to FFOORRKKSS but I know I don't want to miss it. I want to meet all you fabulous women and have an adventure with my friends. We only go around once so I want to be sure I see it all.

Speaking of FFOORRKKSS!! My hubby came home the other night and says, "I know your trip is still a bit off but I got you and the ladies a gift."

His favorite part of the book is the back where you can fill out your sightings of each "monster". Can't wait to use this book on our trip. Fun times to be had!!!

Then just yesterday, I came home to a box from a wonderful Twitard whom we all love, VitaminR!! I recently sent her the Rainier beer box hat as a surprise gift, just because. Well somehow I got a gift for giving a gift.

Ooooo I love the paper but the gift is even better!!

Oooooo smells soooo good and I love the packaging. Thank you VitaminR!!

Lastly, this week was Superhero week started by Mrs. P of TwiBite. So here is my persona! I like it.

I hope you all have a great weekend.

Anyone have any interactions with a superstar or superhero in their lives?

Day of Delirium #38 - I Love Mrs. P

I realized I never posted my pictures of Mrs. P in Boston.
So here we go...

Did Mrs. P help end the war or start it???

But of course

And most of all you... Mrs. P

It's amazing that Mrs. P kind find alcohol anywhere -
this was in the corner of the area outside the elevators in our hotel LOL!!!

George, Rocky, Mocha, Mini-E and Mrs. P all ready for bed

They look soooo comfy

I think Mrs. P had a good time in Boston, I know I did and I am glad she could tag along.

Day of Delirium #37 - Twilight in Boston

So most of you know I was in Boston over July 4th. I had a really nice time. It was nice to spend some time with my 11 year old niece, Audrey. She is just the best person I know.

So this post is all about Twilight on my trip to Boston... or as some would say my TwiObservations on my trip to Boston.

on the way to Boston:

What is Mini-E looking at?

WOO HOO! A billboard for Eclipse!
My hubby kindly slowed down so I could get this picture.

and how could I not think of 17foreverlisa on this one!
Hubby's patience was wearing and he didn't slow down enough LOL

Summit NJ Exit 45
Wolf Harbor CT Exit 55B
Volvo mud flaps on truck
Newton MA
Edward's Georgia Pecan Pie at the rest stop - I really wanted to ask the older man eating it if I could have the box or let Mini-E stand by it but I didn't :( but I did pick up the Eclipse coupons from Burger King that the little boy dropped under his chair ;) and carried it in my purse the whole trip.

Sparkle Pony at Cracker Barrel

in Boston:

 Here is the ad...
and here is the place!
Never thought I would actually walk past the place.
It was actually a surprise on the side street of our walk.

Lion and lamb on Christian Science Church
My hubby pointed this one out to me.

Charles River
Washington Street
St. James Street
Bella Vitta on building
Rosalie Suffolk building

Moo Bella ice cream at Aquarium

Sparkle Penguin at Aquarium
My niece called Mini-E "That Vampire"

on way home from Boston:

Sturbridge MA Exit 9 (I thought this was Rob's friend's last name but apparently that is Sturridge - oops)
Trinity College in CT
Carlisle on a truck
Bella Pizza Exit 47 in NJ
Leader of the Pack - Big M Transport truck
Acoustical Phil on truck
Taylor's Mill Road
Stewartsville NJ
Alpha NJ

another Sparkle Pony at Cracker Barrel
Mini-E enjoyed this toy a little too much :)
One of the workers just laughed at me when I took this picture.

and the final Twiobservation of the trip was from my hubby
Blood drive at the church up the street from our home LOL!!!

But the ultimate Twiobservation was not my own. While standing in line waiting for a trolley, these two girls walk up to the line and say "Would you like some free Eclipse stuff?" My hubby immediately goes "SHE would!!" and points to me. I just start laughing and open my purse to show them the Eclipse coupons from Burger King AND to pull out Mini-E. The girls were beyond excited to meet someone who knew what they were talking about and they gave me an Eclipse pen and key chain!! In exchange I held their Eclipse poster and had my picture taken with it, mini-E and a whole bunch of people who most likely had no idea what was going on. I didn't get the girl's names and I still wonder if they were with a blog or Summit or what! The pen and key chain seemed tied to the movie release as I have not seen these for sale anywhere. If anyone knows anything, please let me know. I couldn't stop smiling. It really made my trip all the more special. Thank you unknown Eclipse girls!!!!

PS I still have some other fun pictures with a certain Mrs. P to post, a cute little monkey and some more Mini-E.

Day of Delirium #36 - Eclipse Fun! No spoilers!

Well I think I might be recovered finally. What an awesome night!!

Meeting Mrs. P of Twi-Bite and Living with Edward was wonderful. They are exactly as I thought they would be. Hilarious, amazing women! We had so much fun just talking, telling stories, taking pictures, retrieving the super secret red bag left for us by Tongue Twied, and oh yea, watching Eclipse. My favorite part of the whole thing was getting gifts just for going to the movies!! How fun is that?

From Mrs. P, we each received our own very pretty TwiBite mug. From Living with Edward, my mini-E got a new shirt and he promotes something very close to my heart with it (see pictures below). From Tongue Twied, DangrDonna got her Mini-E that she won from LwE and then we each got a black bag with red ribbon on it to look like the Eclipse book cover and inside nestled into red ribbon was a Twilight Delight chocolate bar, Twizzlers and Twilight Woods body lotion. We were all shocked, surprised and very happy with our very special super secret gift from Tongue Twied. Next time we hope she will come with us to the movie :) That would be the best gift of all.

The movie itself was awesome and I really enjoyed it. DangrDonna and I were completely engrossed in the movie and we actually missed most of Mrs. P's and LwE's commentary but I have caught up on some of it now. I think everyone is going to enjoy this movie and I can't wait until we have all seen it so we can all talk about it.

DangrDonna, me, Living with Edward, Mrs. P

Thank you ladies for an awesome night!! Here are some more pictures:

Here is very bright me with my Eclipse bag from Tongue Twied!

Here are close ups of my shirt I wore:

Front - wth my Team Twitarded pin :)

Back - with my name and avi so you know who I am :)

DangrDonna was also decked out in a black shirt... Twired's Forks or Bust?? shirt
She looked awesome and had a great time hanging with us crazy Twitarded ladies :)

We really should have done pictures of each of our shirts... they were all so cool... next time!

I love this picture of Mrs. P. She was just the right height to be Bella in the picture LOL!

Here Mrs. P is dressing my mini-E like Kristen - one armed shirt! LOL!
I thought LwE was going to fall out of her chair laughing.

Here is the Tongue Twied gift bag and contents. Perfect!

And here are my gifts: Mini-E with his Gluten Free shirt (LOVE IT!), my TwiBite mug, my movie stub and my Tongue Twied gift bag.

I can't thank you ladies enough for an amazing night! I hope we can do it again for Breaking Dawn or anything else before then. It truly was great to meet you in real life. Thank you!

P.S. I am outta here again for my in-law family vacation.
We may see Mrs. P in Boston this time around, you never know.
Have a great 4th of July holiday and I will try to keep in touch while I am gone.

Remember there is no DML this Friday.

Don't have too much fun without me!
