Doctor Who quote

"The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and... bad things. The good things don't always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don't necessarily spoil the good things or make them unimportant. And we definitely added to his pile of good things."

Day of Delirium #37 - Twilight in Boston

So most of you know I was in Boston over July 4th. I had a really nice time. It was nice to spend some time with my 11 year old niece, Audrey. She is just the best person I know.

So this post is all about Twilight on my trip to Boston... or as some would say my TwiObservations on my trip to Boston.

on the way to Boston:

What is Mini-E looking at?

WOO HOO! A billboard for Eclipse!
My hubby kindly slowed down so I could get this picture.

and how could I not think of 17foreverlisa on this one!
Hubby's patience was wearing and he didn't slow down enough LOL

Summit NJ Exit 45
Wolf Harbor CT Exit 55B
Volvo mud flaps on truck
Newton MA
Edward's Georgia Pecan Pie at the rest stop - I really wanted to ask the older man eating it if I could have the box or let Mini-E stand by it but I didn't :( but I did pick up the Eclipse coupons from Burger King that the little boy dropped under his chair ;) and carried it in my purse the whole trip.

Sparkle Pony at Cracker Barrel

in Boston:

 Here is the ad...
and here is the place!
Never thought I would actually walk past the place.
It was actually a surprise on the side street of our walk.

Lion and lamb on Christian Science Church
My hubby pointed this one out to me.

Charles River
Washington Street
St. James Street
Bella Vitta on building
Rosalie Suffolk building

Moo Bella ice cream at Aquarium

Sparkle Penguin at Aquarium
My niece called Mini-E "That Vampire"

on way home from Boston:

Sturbridge MA Exit 9 (I thought this was Rob's friend's last name but apparently that is Sturridge - oops)
Trinity College in CT
Carlisle on a truck
Bella Pizza Exit 47 in NJ
Leader of the Pack - Big M Transport truck
Acoustical Phil on truck
Taylor's Mill Road
Stewartsville NJ
Alpha NJ

another Sparkle Pony at Cracker Barrel
Mini-E enjoyed this toy a little too much :)
One of the workers just laughed at me when I took this picture.

and the final Twiobservation of the trip was from my hubby
Blood drive at the church up the street from our home LOL!!!

But the ultimate Twiobservation was not my own. While standing in line waiting for a trolley, these two girls walk up to the line and say "Would you like some free Eclipse stuff?" My hubby immediately goes "SHE would!!" and points to me. I just start laughing and open my purse to show them the Eclipse coupons from Burger King AND to pull out Mini-E. The girls were beyond excited to meet someone who knew what they were talking about and they gave me an Eclipse pen and key chain!! In exchange I held their Eclipse poster and had my picture taken with it, mini-E and a whole bunch of people who most likely had no idea what was going on. I didn't get the girl's names and I still wonder if they were with a blog or Summit or what! The pen and key chain seemed tied to the movie release as I have not seen these for sale anywhere. If anyone knows anything, please let me know. I couldn't stop smiling. It really made my trip all the more special. Thank you unknown Eclipse girls!!!!

PS I still have some other fun pictures with a certain Mrs. P to post, a cute little monkey and some more Mini-E.

I love that hubby was in the Twiobservations. My faves are that vampire with the sparkly pony and the Penguine That Wanted To Sparkle. That is such a funny name for a book. After reading Twilight, all I think about that is penguine looking for a vampire to bite him and turn him into a sparkly vampguine. That is so cool about the girls giving you a free Eclipse pen. I would have been extatic!

Yes! A Twiobservation post...and you got your husband in on the act, too.

Naturally, I love the license plate :) Wow, did you tie a lot of things back to Twilight. I feel like I trained you well. LOL!!

The billboard is awesome. They don't have any around here :( And what are the odds that you would be approached by someone with Eclipse merch. I can't believe you didn't ask them why they were giving it out.

Mwah!!

Oooh, lovely - I'm referring to the key chain and pen. How fantastic. I can't wait until showing and carrying mini E around becomes normal. I'm already tired of the stigma.

I must admit, though, I got a little dizzy with all your TwiObservations, lol.

DD. I adore this post. So sweet that you had those girls come up to you. Twilight merchandise bestowing angels? They found you just in line for a trolley? That's destiny baby! I love your mini E pics and I'm jealous because my hubby was not so cool with me doing these during our travel. Can't wait to see more!

WHAT A SCORE WITH THE PEN AND KEYCHAINS! That is the greatest! I was in heaven at the twilight place but to read how you were approached was just awesome. Right place, right time, right obsession! LOL

and please share kudos with the hubby for being engaging in the Twi-fun!! See Mr. DD, it really is more fun when you succumb to it.

WOW! What a win with the free pen and keychain! Wonderful! I love Cracker Barrel. I could just walk through the little store all day and then go and have my delicious breakfast. We always stop at one when we travel, because there aren't any around here.

great twi-observations. hope your 4th was just as sparkly. nice key chain and pen. i need a twi-themed pen, it would make my meetings so much more interesting. as if reading fanfic during the meeting isn't distracting enough :-)
