One of my father's favorite things to do at Christmas was to put red and green lights in our front porch lights. My mother was never really a fan but I thought it was cool. So I was very happy when my hubby was on board with the idea years ago and started putting the green light in our porch light each Christmas. Just a little reminder of my father each year :)
Any traditions with lights in your house?

I always go for red and gold decorations and I have certain ones I put in certain places lol. Boxing day is slob day and on xmas day we always go up my in laws x love it x
Red and Gold sounds very pretty. I know what you mean about putting certain items in certain places I do the same :)
