This new show on AMC is absolutely incredible. I originally watched to see Julianna Marguiles and while she is incredible on the show I am now obsessed with Joy Nash as Plum.
The show is timely, harsh, awful, amazing, hilarious, depressing, empowering, and Joy Nash is spectacular.
I honestly have been wanting to write a review of this show since the first episode but I can’t form coherent thoughts when I try to think of what I want to say. I want to say it all and I want to say nothing and just let people watch and let it unfold for them. The episodes have left me speechless and in tears. In one of the episodes, there is a roar by Plum and I all I could think was how awesome some scream therapy could be.
I am sure there are many readers here who would not like this show or need this show but there are definitely people out there who would benefit from watching this show. Check it out and let me know your thoughts.

Doctor Who quote
"The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and... bad things. The good things don't always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don't necessarily spoil the good things or make them unimportant. And we definitely added to his pile of good things."

Day of Delirium #365 - TwiFicMeetUp Atlanta
So I haven’t read a Fan Fiction in a very long time. In fact I haven’t read much at all in the past few years. So why do I keep coming back the to TwiFicMeetUp?
Anyone want to guess?
Besides the traveling to a great city and getting to explore, I get to see 60+ women for a long weekend and talk all things Twilight but not only that we talk all things life!
We also all get to get away for awhile but we get to hang out and relax and talk and laugh. It is a comradeship like I’ve never known. It’s all accepting, it’s all inclusive. In fact we have some new people attending for the first time since this started in 2012. How cool is that?
There was some worry this meetup wouldn’t happen but thanks to the extreme hard work of Angela and Jeannie and I am sure some others behind the scenes, we are all in Atlanta and ready to enjoy our time together.
We are in the incredible Marriott Marquis Atlanta - where some of Hunger Games was filmed and it is incredible. I was lucky enough to get a tour from Lori who lives here and absolutely loves her city and this hotel. She even owns the old rug and sells it on Facebook. And no, that is not crazy at all.
Today is a full day of panels and then a meet and greet tonight. Tomorrow is a half day with panels and then free time to explore or relax and then a pajama party at night. Then Sunday is the goodbye brunch and flights home for most. This is my first time not bringing my Mom along and having a TwiFic roomie and it has been great.
There is already talk about next year, so please consider joining us. I’ll keep you posted on where and when.

Day of Delirium #364 - Farmer’s Market
So one of my most favorite things in this world is our local farmer’s market. It is small but oh so mighty. Perkasie Farmer’s Market is amazing.
I adore all the vendors and I get the best food and wares while I’m there.
I have been so lucky to have been able to attend the first 4 weeks and get the most yummy food and homemade items. Everyone is incredibly nice and I feel so good helping our local farmers and vendors. I love seeing my money go directly to those who grew and made everything. And I love seeing the smiles of everyone attending as they purchase the most incredible food and wares.
Please, please check your local area and see if you have a farmer’s market to attend. I can not recommend it enough.

Day of Delirium #363 - Big travel news
Sooo I have big travel news for my life.
You may or may not know that my ancestry is almost all Polish. My Mother is 99% and I am 76% per ancestry.com.
And you may or may not know that I have always wanted to go to Poland to see my heritage.
Well that dream will come true this August. And it is completely kismet that it is happening.
Back in September when my sister and brother-in-law were at my Mom’s and someone called the cops on them parking their RV in front of my Mom’s house for “too long”, they had to move the RV. They called various places but the best offer was from 3 blocks up the street at The Polish National Church! They were allowed to park in their lot for free but of course they felt they should attend services and make some donations.
Wellll during one of the services, my sister picked up a piece of paper...a trip to Poland with the church!! She gave it to my Mom, who gave it to me and the rest is history. I asked a friend who goes to Poland almost every year if the trip sounded good and worth it and she said most definitely.
So in August, my Mother and I will be heading to Poland with the church group that so kindly helped out my sister and brother-in-law. I am beyond excited and I can’t wait to see my ancestral homeland.
What is your ancestry and have you been able to travel to see your ancestral home country?

Day of Delirium #362 - Gluten Free Expo
This Saturday May 19th in Oaks PA I will be attending the Gluten Free Expo.
I have been wanting to attend one of these expos for awhile now but always had conflicts with the dates and /or locations. So this year when we finally determined we would be around, I bought the tickets at Wegmans.
I am very excited to see all the amazing products that will be there and meet some awesome people. I am hopeful I will be able to meet with the owner of the blog Gluten Free Philly. He was one of the first blogs I followed and he has been extremely helpful in finding places to eat not only in Philly but when he posts about trips he has taken.
I plan to post a full review over on my gluten free blog, Gluten Free R U, but I will also cross post here just in case anyone is interested that doesn't follow that blog.
Is there anything you want me to look for while at this expo? If so, please let me know in the comments.
