DangrMomma and I are heading out together for a week on the Pride of America cruise ship to see Ohau, Maui (2 days), Big Island (Hilo [1 day] and Kona [1 day]) and Kauai (2 days).
This is a big trip for me. It is the only item I have ever had on my bucket list!
I have travelled to the other 49 states with my family and this is the last one.
It is unfortunate that my father won't be along in person for this (he passed away 3-7-05) but he will be along in a small baggie (that hopefully won't get taken by the people at the airport).
It was also unfortunate that at one point that my sister decided to not be able to go with us but then made her own plans. Ironically, when Mom and I made our plans in the end ... they were for the same week. Sooo we will meet my sister and brother-in-law in Kauai on the Thursday of the trip for breakfast!
So I truly will get my bucket list item completed properly and will have visited all 50 states with my family.
The bonus!! I will meet HonoluluGirl-Suz on Saturday 5-21 to hang out with her for a few hours!! That will be so much fun!
I won't be around much and I definitely will not be online at all on the boat (too expensive) but if you need me email me and I will do my best to respond when I am on land. I hope you all have a great week, don't have too much fun without me ;) and know I love each and every one of you.

Hope you have an AMAZING time luv!!! :) Be safe and take lots of pics for us. I've only been once...my Frosh year of h.s. I went to dance at the halftime of the pro-bowl. AWESOME experience but wish I could have had more time to explore.
DD - I need a follow-up post! Now that you've been and gone and experienced it all, I (along with countless others, no doubt) really need to hear of your time there...
Oh, and in addition to TwiKiwi's comment, don't just go West, go East! The UK beckons!
