I flew from Philadelphia to San Francisco on a Thursday night so that I would be fresh and ready to go on Friday to pick up TwiKiwi50 and head to AllTwiedUp's house outside Napa. I had a great flight and a wonderful hotel room to relax in and enjoy before all the fun.
I got up on Friday and was ready to go. I headed to Mariposa Bakery in Oakland first so I could pick up some gluten free goodies for me and Jaymes805 to enjoy for the weekend. I will do a separate post on that visit as it is an amazing place that deserves a post on its own.

I met TwiKiwi50 at her friend's house and it was like we had known each other forever. It felt so good to hug her and see that she was real. We were not at a loss for anything to talk about and it was so comfortable and easy to be with her. She is also a very good navigator :)
We arrived at AllTwiedUp's house without issue and waited a few minutes for AllTwiedUp and NorcalTwitard to arrive back from their grocery shopping trip. There was lots of squeeing and hugging as we acquainted ourselves. Then it was time to meet the pets.

Then ThePPMonster (AllTwiedUp's hubby) came home and we were off to find food. Their local pizza place and grocery store didn't know what hit them.

Napa was tons of fun. We did three wineries and the gang had a great time. I don't drink so I was the designated driver which was fine with me. The day was gorgeous and our Toyota Sienna was rockin' on the way home. TwiKiwi50 was the DJ and when she put on LMFAO's Party Rock Anthem the gang lost it and just danced all over the mini-van. It was so awesome to look in the rear view mirror and just see the pure joy of my friends rockin' out and then looking over to the car next us and the guy laughing hysterically at us. I will never ever forget this day. Truly one of the best and my most favorite days I have had.

My buddy Bella. She is a great dog. Twitards did a great thing when they helped her to be adopted by AllTwiedUp and ThePPMonster. She fits right in and is well loved.

I loved when I was leaving my sister's to come back to you guys I said "I am going to head home now." I miss and love you.

TwiKiwi50 with Mocha. Mocha was so sad to leave. He loved TwiKiwi50 and has been begging to go to New Zealand every day since this trip. I have promised him we will get there and in the near future.
All I can say is, if you get the chance to meet TwiKiwi50 please take it. She is an amazing woman and wonderful friend. I am so grateful she came to the USA to play with us and let me join in the fun. I would travel the world for her, I just happened to start with the USA.

Oh my goodness DD this is a wonderful post! You are so wonderful, it was a pleasure to meet you and the gang.
I may also borrow some photos from here in my upcoming blog post about weightloss, cripes it's scary to see pics of me back then (and it's only been eight months!).

hi, um i'm knew to you miss dangrdafne. but i remember seeing this trip on twitter. what a sweet blogpost about all the fun you had in CA.
i'll be in vegas for the twificmeetup and in LA for the final *tearsup* BD2 tent city. i really hope to see everyone you wrote about this year. i've met them all except for amy and i hope to see them again this year. they are the sweetest and are pretty inside and out!
