So the last post was all about my cosplay at last year's Comic Con, well we knew we wanted Mocha to also cosplay along with us. So we enlisted the wonderful and talented RedBella to make us some outfits for Mocha. When I sent her our ideas I had no idea what we had in store. To say I cried when I opened the box and saw her handmade outfits in the box, would be an understatement. RedBella is beyond amazing and we can not thank her enough for all she did to make our Comic Con adventure even more fun last year.
On to the pictures!!
We employed a Mocha stunt double to travel to Canada and be fitted for the outfits.
Here is original Mocha (right) opening the box and freeing the stunt double.
George was so excited that there was something in the box that fit him.
Dueling fezzes.
Mocha showing off his Captain Malcolm Reynold's real leather coat from Firefly/Serenity.
Forget Captain America, we have Captain Mocha!!
The Pièce de résistance Mocha as the Eleventh Doctor from Doctor Who - complete with his own sonic screwdriver. RedBella was so brilliant that she included a piece of metal inside the sonic screwdriver so it would adhere to Mocha's magnet in his hand! RedBella ROCKS!!!!
Our funny extra. My hubby went to Penn State so he has a jersey with a 1 on it, and I have a jersey with a 2 on it as Penn State is one of my favorite football teams. So Mocha has a #3.
Additionally RedBella made a brown #3 jersey for Mocha for my alma mater Lehigh and I have a jersey with 1 on it and my hubby has a jersey with a 2 on it.
Mocha's own Timmy shirt from thinkgeek
With this shirt for Mocha and the shirt off the real Timmy's back for George we were able to do a thinkgeek family photo with the real Timmy during Comic Con. It's one of my favorite photos of our family.
Additionally there is a full velvet Santa suit, a Bazinga shirt and a Mocha Monkey shirt.
Mocha was beyond thrilled and the amount of compliments he received was beyond belief.
Thank you RedBella! We love you!!
