Doctor Who quote

"The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and... bad things. The good things don't always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don't necessarily spoil the good things or make them unimportant. And we definitely added to his pile of good things."

Day of Delirium #203 - BlogHer 2012 New York City

Deciding to attend BlogHer12 in New York City last August was an easy one - I have great friends in the area who would be attending and I would not miss out on seeing them. BlogHer is a great convention for bloggers with lots of panel/discussions and a great vendor floor with tons and I do mean TONS of free swag.

I was lucky enough to spend most of the weekend with misstejota, one of my most favorite people on the planet. She is so much fun and she just makes me happy. I was also lucky enough to have a whole evening with the women who inspired me to blog and who fostered my love of Twilight, the women of the blog Twitarded. We had met before but this was a whole evening of quality time talking and laughing. I adore these women so much and I am forever grateful for this time with each of them.

The main speakers this year were Martha Stewart and Katie Couric. Neither is a huge draw for me but I am so glad I saw them as they turned out to be much more interesting that I could have expected.

I won't lie, I only attended one panel as once I went to the vendor floor I just couldn't leave. It was so dynamic and fun. And really, the free swag was just too much of a pull.

Nice to have some food to eat :)

Yes, that huge bag was filled with swag. In fact I came home with three bags filled with stuff. Thank goodness we drove. LOL

My inspirations and my wonderful friends

I highly recommend attend BlogHer if you get a chance. It's a great way to meet new people and learn tons about blogging. It's also a great way to get some cool swag ;)
This year's BlogHer is in Chicago in 3 weeks! I can't go this year but I hope I can make it again next year. Until then happy blogging!

Aww!!! I had such a blast at BlogHer with you. Especially hitting all the challenges to win the gift cards from the Hilton. Seeing your good vibes about the wheel spin go into action. Being able to have meals with you and just chat about life and what not. I was EXTREMELY blessed to have those moments with you. I can't wait for the next ones to occur.
